Escape this summer through words, with a journey to West Africa with Litro Magazine’s latest World Series installment a weekend dedicated to the cultural and literary landscapes of Ghana and Nigeria with three days of panel talks, spoken word sessions and a free writer’s workshop with ‘Orangeboy’ author Patrice Lawrence. The mix of free and ticketed events will take place across different venues in central London until May 28.
Litro will be taking command of Waterstone’s Piccadilly on May 25 for a talk named West Africa Through Its Cusine with Zoe’s Ghana Kitchen Zoe Adjonyoh (5:30pm to 6:30pm). And Turner Prize winner Yinka Shonibare MBE will join broadcaster Ekow Eshun later in the day to discuss ‘Art and Identity’.
