Once upon a time Rebecca Pyle shared the first prize purse in The National Poetry Competition with Irish poet and overall winner Medbh McGuckian. More (much more) recently her work has washed up on the shores of The National Poetry Review, The Chattahoochee Review, The Penn Review, Die Leere Mitte, Belle Ombre, Cobalt Review.
Rebecca Pyle lives in Utah, near the Great Salt Lake, and is married to The Salt Lake Tribune's editorial page editor George Pyle. A hundred years ago, the gray brick house they live in was once the home of The Salt Lake Tribune's telegraph operator.
She's an artist, also; see strange paintings in rebeccapyleartist.com.
