I was really hooked, waiting to see the outcome. I realised that I had very much sided with Janet and felt that the animals should be taken seriously. And I was sad at the end to think that she abandoned her hopes, whilst her husband secretly developed his own optimism based on the superstition she’d rejected.

Very descriptive!Helps one associate very well with the characters.In the end,it was interesting to note how circumstances can play with the vulnerability that underlies all of us thus re-shaping even the strongest of belief system one has!
